EndGame

I was reading David Cope’s Taking Sides and came across the game, Endgame. The pieces basically move the same as in chess, except no side can take the others’ pieces. Rather the goal is to entrap the other side so that all their pieces are in check and they have no way to move out of check. I liked the concept of this game and so I created an app to help visualize and play the game. The app shows you the pieces valid moves, which pieces the respective side is checking, and the valid moves available.

The app is available for download in the android market place.

You can also play in browser if you have flash(though the flash plugin is insecure and being phased out).

GPLv3, Source Code: https://github.com/ephemeralwaves/EndGame
(note: next time I’ll make it on a more open platform; this was more for experimentation purposes)

I love Free Software!

Flattr this!
